Dr. Xiaobang Shang, who began working for NPL in 2017 as a senior research scientist, develops measurement techniques for mmWave and THz frequencies, particularly on-wafer measurements. His current research interests also include the characterization of dielectric materials and microwave technology for quantum applications.
