As connected devices become smaller, PCB dimensions increasingly influence connectivity performance and antenna behavior. This webinar will examine these effects through three device design cases based on projects with progressively smaller PCB sizes.

The session will explain the physical limitations that emerge as PCB dimensions decrease and how these constraints can affect connectivity performance. The speakers will also explore the influence of different device materials through simulation, showing how the surrounding environment can change antenna behavior.

Although each case is based on a specific application, the design principles discussed will be applicable across different connected-device segments. For each example, the speakers will highlight the key engineering considerations and the lessons that can be transferred to other designs.

The webinar will conclude with practical design guidelines for engineers working with different PCB dimensions, including recommendations for managing size constraints, material effects, and connectivity requirements during the device design process.
