NoiseWave has introduced the model NW2G-CS coaxial noise source for built-in-test-equipment (BITE) and noise-measurement applications from 10 kHz to 2 GHz. Available in versions with excess noise ratios (ENRs) of 6, 15, and 30 dB, the noise source features better than +/-1 dB noise flatness with frequency. It draws 20 mA current from a +28-VDC supply and can be supplied with a variety of different coaxial connectors. The noise source measures just 0.75 x 0.50 x 1.25 inches without connectors.
