MetricTest announced the availability of the models U3771 and U3772 microwave specrum analyzers from Advantest. Model U3771 operates from 9 kHz to 31.8 GHz while model U3772 operates from 9 kHz to 43 GHz. Both are equipped with resolution-bandwidth filters from 100 Hz to 3 MHz and level accuracy within 2 dB to 8 GHz. The single-sideband phase noise is -85 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. Both analyzers feature displayed average noise level (DANL) of -109 dBm or better. The portable analyzers measure just 308 x 175 x 209 cm and weigh less than 6 kg.
