The LXI Consortium, an industry group supporting adoption of the LAN Extensions for Instrumentation communications standard for measurement equipment, has announced plans for a general meeting and PlugFest to be held October 9-11, 2007 in Munich, Germany. Hosted by LXI Consortium member Rohde & Schwarz at their training facilities, the meetings are open to both members and non-members. The PlugFest offers companies the opportunity to test prototype LXI devices for conformance with the LXI specifications and for interoperability with other prototype devices.
