Anritsu Company has enhanced the performance of its Lightning Broadband model ME7808C vector network analyzer (VNA) for more source power at higher frequencies. Designed for testing active and passive devices from 40 MHz to 110 GHz, the analyzer delivers at least -13 dBm source power across the full frequency range. The instrument can be configured with a 1-mm coaxial connector to cover the full range, with a V connector for coverage to 65 GHz, or with W-band waveguide for coverage from 65 to 110 GHz. For those working in astronomy and other millimeter-wave applications, the VNA can be upgraded for coverage to 500 GHz with additional waveguide modules.
