USB Controls Phase Shifters

Dec. 19, 2013
A pair of  USB-controlled attenuators aid test applications from 2 to 4 GHz and 8 to 12 GHz.

Models LPS-402 and LPS-123 have been added to the Lab Brick family of phase shifters. The former operates from 2 to 4 GHz while the latter runs from 8 to 12 GHz. These Universal-Serial-Bus (USB) controllable phase shifters can be set from an easy-to-install and easy-to-use software graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI can handle several phase shifters for use in multiple-device test setups. Over their frequency ranges, the phase shifters provide full 360-deg. phase control in 1-deg. increments. They achieve 5-dB typical insertion loss, 15-dB typical input/output return loss, 10-μs typical response time, and ±2.5-deg. phase adjustment accuracy. The phase shifters maintain linear operation for power levels to +10 dBm.
