Mercury’s Aslett Elected to 3 Years on AIA Exec Com

Mark Aslett, president and CEO of Mercury Systems, was elected to a three-year term on the Executive Committee of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), beginning in 2019.

Mark Aslett, president and CEO of Mercury Systems, was elected to a three-year term on the Executive Committee of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), beginning in 2019. As part of the Executive Committee, he will work with other committee members to support the AIA’s strong code of ethics and provide guidance and leadership for its defense industry membership.

“We’re pleased to welcome Mark to serve on AIA’s Executive Committee,” said AIA President and CEO Eric Fanning. “He’ll bring a unique and valuable perspective to AIA’s leadership, and we’re looking forward to working with him in the coming years.”

The AIA consists of more than 340 major aerospace and defense companies and their suppliers. The organization advocates for its member companies within the U.S. government, in addition to promoting the adoption of the latest technologies for such market areas as aerospace, defense, and commercial aviation and avionics.
