DIA Designates General Dynamics for Cyber Security

The Defense Intelligence Agency has awarded a $170-million contract to General Dynamics Information Technology for cyber security products and services.

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has awarded a task order to General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics, for a wide range of cyber security services protecting the DIA’s intelligence networks and systems. The Enterprise Cyber Network Defense contract has a five-year ordering period of $170 million. It was awarded under DIA’s Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (E-SITE) as a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract.

Under the terms of the contract, General Dynamics will provide a wide range of technical, functional, and managerial services, including cyber security engineering and threat detection and response. General Dynamics as supported the DIA for more than 30 years. “General Dynamics Information Technology will continue to provide robust cyber defense to support the DIA’s enterprise, networks and security domains,” said Bernie Guerry, senior vice president of the firm’s Intelligence Solutions division. “The company will deliver exceptional support to the DIA worldwide against an increasingly challenging cyber threat.”
