Rohde & Schwarz Appoints Bausback President/CEO

SCOTT BAUSBACK has been named President and CEO of Rohde & Schwarz, Inc. He succeeds WOLFGANG SCHMITTSEIFER, who served as CEO since June 2003. Schmittseifer will return to the company's corporate headquarters in Munich to take on new REYNARD CROWLEY responsibilities at a global level. Bausback has served as Chief Operating Officer of the company since December 2009. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the test and measurement industry to this position. According to Bausback, "Rohde & Schwarz has emerged from the economic crisis in a very strong position. The investment in new products and R&D puts us in a strong position to maintain the momentum and I'm looking forward to working with a great team to focus on our strengths and continue our sustained growth."

FreeWave TechnologiesASHISH SHARMA has been hired as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and General Manager of Products. Sharma brings more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Formerly, Sharma was Vice President of Marketing for Alvarion.
AR Modular RFJASON KOVATCH has joined the company as a Development Engineer. He began his career as an Associate at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA. Kovatch was formerly with Agilent Technologies in the Signal Analysis division.
STMicroelectronicsDIDIER LAMOUCHE has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds ALAIN DUTHEIL, who held the position since 2005 and will be retiring after 27 years with the company. Lamouche had been a member of the firm's supervisory board since April 2006 before stepping down on October 26 of this year. From 2004 until mid-2010, Lamouche served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Bull.
MegaPhaseKEVIN STRACK has been named Managing Director/Business Development. He has more than 30 years of experience in RF/microwave cable assemblies and signal-processing components serving customers in the electronic-warfare, phased-array-radar, missile, space, test and measurement, and communication arenas.
UbidyneMICHAEL FRNKLE has been named Chief Executive Officer. He was formerly Vice President at Telefnica O2 in Germany, where he was responsible for access and transport technology planning and engineering for both mobile and fixed networks. Frnkle succeeds KEN HAWK, who transitioned to the company's advisory board.
RF TechnologiesPAUL REYNARD has been hired as Senior Vice President - Sales and Service. He is a former Vice President of Sales Operations and Marketing for ArjoHuntleigh, Inc.
Raytheon Co.DANIEL J. CROWLEY has been appointed President of Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS). He succeeds COLIN J.R. SCHOTTLAENDER, NCS President since August 2002, who will retire from Raytheon on December 31. Crowley has significant experience in the aerospace and defense industry including 27 years with Lockheed Martin Corp.
