RF Transformer Extends To 4 GHz

for impedance matching from 10 to 4000 MHz, this surface-mount RF attenuator minimizes insertion loss with respectable return-loss performance.

Model TCM2-43X+ is a wideband surface-mount RF transformer from Mini-Circuits with excellent electrical characteristics from 10 to 4000 MHz. Ideal for impedance matching in broadband amplifiers, the RF transformer exhibits a typical primary/secondary impedance ratio of 2, with typical insertion loss of 1.3 dB across its full frequency range. It achieves typical amplitude unbalance of 0.5 dB across the full frequency range, with phase unbalance of typically 7 deg. The miniature RoHS-compliant RF transformer is supplied in the firm’s DB1627 surface-mount package. It is rated for maximum RF power of 0.4 W and maximum DC current of 30 mA. It is available in tape-and-reel packaging for high-volume applications.
