SPDT Switch Controls 20 GHz

Nov. 25, 2014
A SPDT switch operates from DC to 20 GHz with positive gain slope.

Model CMD195 is a nonreflective single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch with loss that decreases with increasing frequency (positive gain slope). Designed for use from DC to 20 GHz, the low-frequency insertion loss of 2.5 dB decreases to insertion loss of only 2.0 dB at higher frequencies. The terminated switch provides more than 40-dB isolation between ports, with an input 1-dB compression point of +25 dBm. The switching speed is 1.8 ns and the switch is controlled by a pair of complementary logic signals at 0 and -5 VDC. The monolithic switch is suitable for commercial, military, and measurement applications.
