The latest line of wideband filters from Omniyig provide minimum 3-dB bandwidths of 500 MHz at frequencies from 6 to 18 GHz. Based on yittrium-iron-garnet resonators, these tunable bandpass filters offer 24-dB/octave rejection slopes and passband insertion loss of only 6.5 dB. The YIG filters are available with integrated analog or 12-b digital drivers. For more information on the firm's YIG-based filters and oscillators, visit the company's web site.
