Model CVCO55CC-3015-3045 from Crystek is a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) that tuned from 3015 to 3045 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 V. The VCO is ideal for use in applications like digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and cellular base stations. It provides 0 dBm output power with typical phase noise of -109 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. The pulling performance is 0.5 MHz while the pushing performance is 0.3 MHz/V. Second harmonics are typically -25 dBc. The VCO draws 35 mA typical current from a +5-VDC supply. It is supplied in an industry-standard 0.5-x-0.5-in. surface-mount package.
