Electronic-design-automation (EDA) supplier AWR has added practical content to its multimedia Internet resource, AWR.TV. Launched this past January, the AWR.TV site features tutorial presentations and application-specific information on electromagnetic (EM) simulation as well as general EDA topics. The EM tutorial topics include video presentations on transmission lines, interactive solvers, EM models, solver types, and a two-part series on ports.

The EM material can be found on the new AWR.TV "Applications" channel under "Electromagnetic" and is presented by Senior Applications Engineer Dr. John Dunn, well known in the area of EM modeling and simulation. According to Sherry Hess, Vice President of Marketing for AWR, "The beauty of AWR.TV is in its ability to provide comprehensive product information, tutorial presentations, and application-specific discussions through concise software demonstrations."
