Model AML618P1211-S is a plug-in SMP amplifier module from AML that delivers 0.5 W (+27 dBm) output power from 6 to 18 GHz. It provides 12 dB gain over that frequency range and includes internal DC regulation and reverse voltage protection. The SMP package, with connectors located at the base of the amplifier, can be mounted directly to a circuit board. The plug-in amplifier measures just 1.38 x 1.22 x 0.74 in. Versions are available with different levels of gain and output power.
