A line of miniature 180-deg. hybrid couplers from ARRA covers a total frequency range of 30 MHz to 18 GHz with low loss and high power-handling capability. All models are rated for 50 W average input power and 1 kW peak input power. As an example of the line, model 4194-180 operates from 2 to 4 GHz with 20 dB isolation between ports and 0.6 dB or less insertion loss. The maximum VSWR is 1.50:1. The amplitude balance between ports is 0.5 dB while the phase balance is 6 deg. Model 4194-180 measures 1.5 x 2.0 x 1.812 in. with SMA connectors. The 180-deg. hybrids are supplied in aluminum housings with passivated MIL-C-39012 connectors, SMA on standard units and Type N connectors as an option.
