Model AMX/0118-3026 is a compact, broadband low-noise amplifier (LNA) from CTT with impressive frequency range of 1 to 18 GHz. Based on GaAs pHEMT device technology, the LNA achieves a noise figure of less than 2.5 dB across the full bandwidth. The amplifier, which will be on display at the upcoming 2010 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium, May 23-28, 2010 in Anaheim, CA, is suitable for a wide range of applications, including spread-spectrum communications and radar receivers. It is available in a drop-in package or with SMA coaxial connectors.
