SynopsysHas been selected as BiTMICRO Networks' electronic design automation (EDA) provider for systemon- chip (SoC) design. BiTMICRO is a manufacturer of high-end enterprise Solid State Drive (SSD) technologies. In addition, Synopsis has linked its Protocol Analyzer offering with Springsoft's Verdi Automated Debug System, speeding protocol verification for SoC designs.
Hughes Network SystemsHas completed installation of its HN NOC-XT broadband satellite system for Pegaso Banda Ancha (Pegaso Broadband), a leading service provider in Mexico. The installation took place at Pegaso's new teleport in Toluca.

Agilent TechnologiesHas completed its acquisition of Accelicon Technologies' software offerings and technology for semiconductor device modeling. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Curtiss-WrightHas reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2011. In the fourth quarter, the company posted a net sales increase of 7% to $561 million, up from $523 million in 2010. For 2011, net sales increased 9% to $2.05 billion, up from $1.89 billion in 2010 the previous year.
Lockheed MartinHas delivered the second Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) military communications satellite to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, where it will be readied for an April liftoff aboard an Atlas V launch vehicle. The AEHF system is the successor to the five-satellite Milstar constellation. In addition, Lockheed Martin has completed optical-electronic lightning sensitivity testing on the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) -R Series Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) spaceflight instrument. Testing took place at the company's Advanced Technology Center in Palo Alto, CA, and will be followed by thermal and thermalvacuum testing in the coming months.
ModelithicsHas announced a partnership with Virginia Diodes (VDI). The two companies are providing nonlinear models of VDI's W-band single anode and W-band zero-bias-detector (ZBD) Schottky diodes.
