A standard line of three-port drop-in microwave isolators includes models operating from 300 MHz to 20 GHz. For example, model DD10680 spans 6.4 to 7.2 GHz with 22 dB minimum isolation and maximum insertion loss of 0.35 dB. It exhibits maximum VSWR of 1.20:1 across the full operating range and can handle 50 W forward power and 5 W reverse power. The isolator measures 0.50 x 0.575 x 0.15 inches and can be used at operating temperatures from -20 to +85 degrees Centrigrade. Additional models cover as much as 1500 MHz bandwidth in a single unit.
