Flat-Panel Antenna Combines Polarizations

Sept. 17, 2012
The HyperLink HG2414DP-3NP flat-panel antenna is designed for multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications in the 2.4-GHz frequency band.
The HyperLink HG2414DP-3NP flat-panel antenna is designed for multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications in the 2.4-GHz frequency band. The compact design combines vertical and horizontal polarization with high gain in a
single enclosure, allowing for the interoperability of two radios to transmit and receive paths while attenuating unwanted signals from adjacent channels and/or co-located equipment. The antenna delivers 14-dBi gain from 2.4 to 2.5 GHz with average VSWR of 1.50:1. It features a horizontal beamwidth of 44 deg. and a vertical beamwidth of 46 deg. The antenna boasts front-to-back ratio of better than 25 dB and cross-polarization isolation of better than 28 dB. It can handle input power levels to 10 W and can withstand wind velocities to 130 mph. It measures 12.40 x 12.40 x 0.98 in. (315 x 315 x 25 mm) and weighs 3.5 lbs. (1.6 kg) and is equipped with Type N female connectors in three places. It is supplied with a tilt-and-swivel mast mount kit for easy alignment.
