Cavity Filter Passes Signals to 26 GHz

April 12, 2019
A cavity bandpass filter developed by RLC Electronics is available with center frequency passbands to 26 GHz.

Model CBPF is a cavity bandpass filter that can be supplied with a center frequency over a total range of 0.5 to 26.0 GHz. It’s available with a 3-dB bandwidth from 0.2 to 3.0% of the center frequency and with 2 to 14 sections, depending on out-of-band rejection. In-band loss is typically 0.6 dB or less across the full 3-dB bandwidth. The 50-Ω bandpass filter meets MIL-E-5400, Class 1A requirements. It comes with a variety of coaxial connectors, depending on frequency, including BNC, Type N, TNC, and SMA connectors.
