Willtek Communications, a supplier of wireless test equipment, announced a strategic partnership with microwave component and test manufacturer Trilithic, Inc. The alliance names Trilithic, which designs and sells test gear for the cable-television (CATV) industry, as the exclusive distributor of Willtek's model 9101 handheld spectrum analyzer. The 9101, which weighs about 5 lbs. and covers 100 kHz to 4 GHz, s equipped with a variety of features that make it suitable for testing CATV components and systems. The instrument is typically used as a CATV headend tool for performance analysis and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) compliance testing. As part of the agreement, Trilithic will be the sole distributor of the 9101 for the Americas.
