GaAs MMIC Amp Boosts 2 to 6 GHz

This general-purpose amplifier delivers flat 26-dB gain from 2 to 6 GHz.

Model MPAM-206032-05 is a general purpose, GaAs MMIC amplifier with impressive gain performance from 2 to 6 GHz. It delivers typical small-signal gain of 26 dB across that frequency range, with gain flatness within ±1.2 dB. The amplifier achieves input return loss of typically 13 dB and output return loss of typically 14 dB. It exhibits a noise figure of typically 5.5 dB across the operating frequency range with output power of typically +32 dBm at 1-dB compression. For those not requiring quite as much gain over the same frequency range, the firm also offers the model MMA-020624 GaAs MMIC amplifier, featuring 17-dB typical gain and 3.5-dB typical noise figure from 2 to 6 GHz.
