USB Sensor Reads Power to 6 GHz

Dec. 21, 2014
A compact USB power sensor reads power levels to 500 W at frequencies to 6 GHz.
The model 7022 statistical RF Universal-Serial-Bus (USB) power sensor measures power levels from 250 mW to 500 W of digitally modulated signals at frequencies from 350 MHz to 6 GHz. Well suited for in-field measurements, the compact unit measures 5.8 × 4.8 × 1.3 in. and weighs just 1.5 lb. In addition to checking power, it can perform a number of other measurements, including VSWR and return loss. It works with the firm’s Windows-based Virtual Power Meter software running on a personal computer (PC).
