Analog Devices is offering free design software on its website. The Short-Range-Device (SRD) wireless link design and simulation software is available free of charge. The software is based on the company's AD70xx family of short-range transmitters and transceivers, which are suitable for such applications as automatic meter reading, industrial automation, security, home automation, remote controls, and other low-power wireless network and telemetry applications. The software allows users to view multiple parameters simultaneously in both the frequency and time domains and includes FCC, ETSI, and ARIB templates for compliance simulation.
