Free RF Absorber Samples Available

March 18, 2014
Free samples of RF absorber materials for use from 1 to 40 GHz are available upon request.

A line of RF absorber materials can be optimized to absorb unwanted RF/microwave emissions from 1 to 40 GHz. Known as the “Tuned Frequency” absorbers these materials are intended for designers faced with cavity resonance effects at discrete frequencies. The absorber materials, which have been developed by MAST Technologies, are available through the firm’s stocking distributor RFMW. Free samples are available upon request, and a designer can expect customized (to specific frequencies) samples to ship within three to five business days of a request. The absorber materials work by attenuating the electromagnetic (EM) energy over a frequency range of interest and converting it to heat. MAST also offers a free white paper on proper selection of absorber materials, free upon request from RFMW.
