A new educational video series, “Ask LPKF,” offers a great deal of information about designing and fabricating high-frequency printed-circuit boards (PCBs) and the tools and equipment needed to build those PCBs. The first four videos in the series cover questions on topics ranging from PCB laser systems to materials used for molded interconnect device fabrication. The company plans on producing one or two of the video segments each month covering a variety of topics, including PCB prototyping equipment, laser systems for depaneling PCBs and creating surface-mount-technology (SMT) stencils, laser plastic welding, and laser direct structuring of 3D molded interconnect devices (MIDs). Those interested in viewing the video series or submitting a question to LPKF can do so here.
