Also this week at the Mobile World Congress, Skyworks Solutions detailed its support for the M710 4G LTE solution from ST-Ericsson in the form of several front-end modules for LTE Bands I, IV, VI, and VIII. The company also introduced power amplifier modules supporting LTE-FDD for North America (the SKY77449 and SKY77453). According to Dr. Gene A. Tkachenko, Senior Director of Engineering at Skyworks, "Skyworks is pleased to be supporting ST-Ericsson as they deliver innovative technology, enabling devices for consumers requiring access to high-speed mobile broadband and global coverage. Through our leadership technology we are enabling next-generation platforms across a wide range of frequencies and applications worldwide."
