RFMDJerry Neal, the company's Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Marketing, has announced his retirement. Neal was responsible for securing RFMD's initial venture-capital investment, as well as multiple licensing deals, branding, and mergers and acquisitions. He was also primarily responsible for many of the company's corporate relationships, including TRW (now Northrop Grumman), Nokia, IBM, TowerJazz, and others. Neal remains actively involved with numerous business, education, and charitable organizations.
MicrelWiren Perera has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Strategic Marketing. In addition to his new role, Perera will continue to manage marketing and business development for Micrel's Ethernet business. In addition, Rami Kanama has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Clock and Timing Products. Kanama, who will also serve as President of the company's recently acquired PhaseLink subsidiary, formerly served as High Bandwidth Marketing Director.

Align Aerospace HoldingRichard C. Organ has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Organ most recently served as President and CEO of Schneller LLC, a role he held for nearly 14 years. In addition, Jerome de Truchis has joined Align Aerospace France as General Manager Europe. de Truchis was previously head of Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies France Sales & Service team.

API TechnologiesHas appointed Phil Rehkemper to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Rehkemper most recently served as Vice President of Finance for International Rectifier.

SAE InternationalHas named Andrew Smart Director of Industry Relations and Business Development. Smart joins the company from Ricardo, where he served as Vice President, Business Development and Marketing.
Fujitsu Semiconductor AmericaSatoru Yamaguchi has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Yamaguchi, who joined Fujitsu in 1980, most recently served as Corporate Vice President of Fujitsu Semiconductor Ltd.

The SI OrganizationRetired Air Force Lieutenant General John T. "Tom" Sheridan has been named Vice President of the company's National Security Space line. Sheridan retired last year as Commander of the Space and Missile Systems Center, Air Force Space Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base.

AlvarionHezi Lapid has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Lapid most recently served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Axerra Networks, a provider of carrier network equipment.

QuantumCleanTim Burrows has been appointed to the new position of Global Quality and Continuous Improvement Director. Burrows most recently served as Electronics Global Continuous Improvement Manager for Air Products and Chemicals.

Voler SystemsStuart Tyrrell has joined the company as Director of Engineering. Tyrrell previously served as Director of Engineering at Spendgo.

Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA)Dr. Leo Li has been appointed to the board of directors. Li, the current Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Spreadtrum Communications, Inc., is the first China-based executive to be appointed to the GSA board. In addition, the board has elected Ralph Schmitt as Semiconductor Director. Schmitt is President and Chief Executive Officer of PLX Technology, Inc.

TeseqMichael Yantz has been appointed Vice President of Business Development.Prior to joining Teseq, Yantz worked for Instruments for Industrymost recently in the role of Senior Vice President.

ZMDIEdward Lam has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Lam previously held roles at National Semiconductor, Sipex, Exar, and Analogic Tech.
