Power Splitters Work In Buildings

Nov. 12, 2012
A line of unequal power splitters offers division ratios from 2:1 to 10:1 at frequencies from 698 to 2700 MHz.

Designed for in-building distributed-antenna-system (DAS) applications, a line of unequal power dividers from MECA offers division ratios of 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 6:1, 8:1, or 10:1 at frequencies from 698 to 2700 MHz. The power splitters exhibit better than -150 dBc passive-intermodulation (PIM) performance. The unequal power splitters can handle as much as 300 W continuous-wave (CW) power and are designed for operating temperatures from -55 to +85°C.
