EDI CON commences this week (Sept. 20-22), bringing a large number of exhibitors along with technical sessions, panels, and workshops to Boston’s Hynes Convention Center. Judging by the companies represented, as well as the assortment of technical sessions, those from the RF/microwave industry who attend could have much to gain.
The Boston area is known for being home to a large number of RF/microwave companies, many of which will be participating in the exhibition, including MACOM, Analog Devices, and others. Overall, the exhibition plays host to a multitude of companies covering test & measurement, design software, semiconductors, components, cables/connectors, and materials.
A wide range of technical sessions are scheduled at EDI CON. A major theme running through these sessions and the conference itself is 5G. For example, one session will discuss 5G modulation scheme candidates.
In addition to the technical sessions, several panels are on tap, with 5G once again being a focal point as demonstrated by the panel titled, “How will 5G Ride the mmWave?” The panelists represent companies spanning from Keysight Technologies and National Instruments to Analog Devices, MathWorks, and more. Anyone who has any interest in 5G should make the attempt to attend this panel in particular, as it should be entertaining to watch.
No question, the event surely looks promising with so much on the schedule. Please check back with us for updates throughout the week.
