Lansdale Semiconductor announced the availability of three popular wireless ICs originally developed by Freescale Semiconductor. Lansdale has the single-source rights to globally market and manufacture former Freescale product lines that include the MC1350 intermediate-frequency (IF) amplifiers, the MC1490 commercial RF amplifiers, and the MC1590 IF amplifiers for military applications. The MC1350 and MC1490 amplifiers include wide automatic-gain-control (AGC) ranges that make them ideal for IF and video amplification. They can be used for commercial applications through 70 MHz. The MC1590G is a DC-coupled high-gain monolithic amplifier usable to 150 MHz and characterized over the full military temperature range.
