On the show floor, a number of booths will display new source products, with Z-Communications announcing the RoHS-compliant model SFS3900A-LF frequency synthesizer for fixed-frequency applications at S-band. A typical model operates at 3.9 GHz with typical phase noise of -88 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. Typical spurious content is -65 dBc. The SFS3900A-LF is designed to deliver typical output power of +3 dBm and draws 33 mA typical current from a +5 VDC supply. Ideal for satcom and microwave radio applications, it is supplied in a PLL-V12N package measuring 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.13 in.
