The model SEM02012 failsafe single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch from Narda, an L-3 Communications company, provides outstanding performance from DC to 18 GHz. It suffers maximum insertion loss of 0.5 dB across the full frequency range, with maximum VSWR of 1.50:1. The isolation is 80 dB to 3 GHz, 70 dB to 8 GHz, and 60 dB through 18 GHz. The rugged switch is actuated by means of 275 mA at +12 VDC. It is shipped with SMA female connectors, includes an integral indicator circuit, and measures 1.34 x 1.5 x 0.5 in.
