With its "Wireless Hall of Fame," the Wireless History Foundation has recognized the groundbreaking achievements of 32 individuals since its inception in 2000. Eligibility for the hall of fame is based on an individual's contributions to the advancement of wireless services, products, and programs. A candidate must be recommended by one nominator and two seconders. Nominations for the 2012 Wireless Hall of Fame are due by March 15 in four categories: Service Provider, Technology, Industry Associate, and Pioneer.

Nomination forms and supporting documents are available on the WHF website. Candidates are nominated by their peers and selected according to a consistent set of criteria by a committee composed primarily of Hall of Fame members. Inductees will be honored at the Wireless Hall of Fame Dinner on October 8 in San Diego, CAthe evening before the CTIA Enterprise and Applications 2012 trade show.
