Model HMC791LC4B from Hittite Microwave is a surface-mount frequency divider with simultaneous divide-by-2 and divide-by-4 outputs, with capability to handle clock input signals to 28 GHz. Input signals are terminated with 50 Ohms to ground on-chip and may be either AC or DC coupled. Outputs can be differential or single-ended with peak-to-peak drive levels to 600 mV. The divider exhibits single-sideband (SSB) phase noise of -151 dBc/Hz with typical rise and fall times of 12 and 14 ps, respectively. It is supplied in a RoHS-compliant 4 x 4 mm ceramic surface-mount-technology (SMT) package and draws only 200 mA from a single -+3.3-VDC supply.
