Sabritec Appoints Pianalto President SCOTT PIANALTO has been appointed President of Sabritec, a Smiths Interconnect business that provides interconnect solutions for military, aerospace, telecom, space, test and measurement, and commercial applications. He has over 20 years of experience in the connector industry and most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Operations for a major connector manufacturer within the military aerospace market. In this new role, Pianolto will focus on implementing an accelerated growth strategy to strengthen and expand the company's position in the marketplace. He holds a BS in chemistry from the University of California and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Isola Group, SARLDAVID LUTTRULL has joined the company as Director of Development-Emerging Technologies. He will work with Isola's OEM Marketing and R&D teams to develop new products and technologies for highspeed digital and halogen-free applications. Prior to joining Isola, Luttrull was President and Chief Scientist for MG Lab Services.

Retired Command Sergeant Major BOB PHIFER has been appointed to the position of Director of Military Affairs. He will be responsible for overseeing business development and company strategy as well as a strong focus on the implementation of the organization's IEDBD programs. Phifer served in the US Army, retiring in 2000 as a Command Sergeant Major after nearly 24 years of service.

JAMES "JAY" MCCONVILLE has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. THOMAS AKERS, Founder and current CEO, will serve as AME's Chairman of the Board. McConville served as Vice President for Strategy and Business Development at Chandler/May, the parent company. Prior to joining Chandler/ May, he was the Vice President of Reconnaissance and Surveillance within a major defense integrator. He is also a former Army Intelligence Officer.
Raytheon
RICHARD R. YUSE has been named President, Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business. He succeeds JON C. JONES, who passed away on March 6. In May 2007, Yuse was named President of Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC). He joined Raytheon in 1976. JOHN D. HARRIS II is now President, Raytheon Technical Services Company. He succeeds Yuse. Harris has been with the company for 27 years and most recently served as Vice President of Raytheon Contracts and Supply Chain. In addition, DAVID WILKINS has been named Vice President, Raytheon Contracts and Supply Chain. He will join the Raytheon Leadership Team and report to Raytheon Chairman and CEO William H. Swanson. Wilkins previously served as Vice President, Contracts for Raytheon's Network Centric Systems (NCS) business. He joined Raytheon NCS in January 2002 as Director of Contracts for Command, Control, and Communications Systems.
