At the size of a typical resistor or capacitor, the LFCV-45+ lowpass filter from Mini-Circuits measures just 3.2 x 2.5 mm but can handle as much as 8 W RF input power without damage. Based on low-temperature-cofired-ceramic (LTCC) technology, the LPF provides typical passband return loss of 20 dB through 45 MHz with minimum stopband rejection of 20 dB through 120 MHz and 50 dB at 180 MHz. The filter exhibits passband insertion loss of no more than 1.2 dB through 45 MHz. The seven-section filter is supplied in an EIA 1210 surface-mount-technology (SMT) package and features extremely stable performance over an operating temperature range of -55 to +100C.
