Mouser ElectronicsHas announced a partnership with M/ACOM Technology Solutions. Mouser will serve as an authorized global distributor for M/A-COM Tech's product lines. SemiGenIs relocating to a new facility with expanded RF/microwave assembly and test capabilities. The 25,000-square-foot space is located at 920 Candia Road in Manchester, NH.
Gowanda Electronics
Has completed a recapitalization of the company with Addison Capital Partners. First Niagara Bank and Banyan Mezzanine provided financing for the arrangement. Terms were not disclosed.
RFMD
Has added two new gallium-arsenide (GaAs) process technologies to its foundry-services portfolio. Both the FD25 low-noise pHEMT and FET1H switching pHEMT processes are now available to foundry customers.
TAOS
Has completed a strategic transition with austriamicrosystems AG to combine the two companies. In the transaction, austriamicrosystems acquired 100% of TAOS shares, valued at approximately $320 million. TAOS shareholders received cash and stock for their stake in the combined new company, which is estimated to be 20%.

Has received government safety approval for its MagneLink Magnetic Communication System (MCS). The wireless offering enables trapped miners and rescue workers to communicate during a disaster. In addition, the company is collaborating with Esri to provide online geospatial applications and services. Optimum Communications Services (OCS)Has been granted US Patent #7,986,713. Targeting communications networks, this patent enables the bandwidth of physical-layer connections to be continuously optimized based on real-time data-traffic load variations.
D.L.S. Conformity Assessment
Has been accepted into Underwriters Laboratories' Third Party Test Data Program. This will allow D.L.S. to test directly to UL standards for ITE, audio/video, medical devices and equipment, and laboratory test and measurement equipment for formal listing.
