Dual-Polarized Antennas Scan 4.7-GHz Band

May 6, 2010
Models OMND-4.5-9 and OMND-4.8-9 are omnidirectional antennas designed for use in the 4.7-GHz band. The dual-polarized model OMND-4.5-9 covers frequencies from 4.4 to 4.6 GHz while the dual-polarized model OMND-4.8-9 operates from 4.7 to 5.0 GHz. The ...

The designs consist of two 9-dBi omnidirectional antennas housed in a single radome enclosure. One antenna is vertically polarized while the other is horizontally polarized. The antennas can be upright or invert mounted and have two female Type N connectors. Andy Singer, President of Radio Waves, notes, "The new OMND antenna offers superior performance in an easy to use package for systems that can take advantage of dual-polarized antennas. Like all Radio Waves antennas, these dual-pol omni antennas are made in the USA and comes with our industry leading 5-year warranty."
