Raytheon Co.Will provide Rock County, WI with a 20- site conventional P25 digital land-mobile-radio (LMR) system. This systemthe county's firstwill provide communications across public-safety and municipal services. Raytheon has also been awarded a $32.2-million contract for the US Navy's Global Positioning System-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Service program.

Harris Corp.
Has received a $50-million work order from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Per the agreement, Harris will deliver public-safety radios, technology, and services for the Oregon State Radio Project, which will support the mission-critical communications needs of ODOT and the Oregon State Police.
