The 243 series antennas from Antenna Research Associates are lightweight foldable satellite-communications antenna systems designed for tactical military communications applications. The model ARA-243T is an antenna with tripod and features continuous azimuth and elevation adjustment. The model ARA-243P is an antenna with a pistol grip, while model ARA-243M is an antenna with magnetic mount. Finally, model ARA-243K is an antenna kit with all of these attachments, along with the antenna and a carrying case.
