The PHT series of surface-mount wraparound thin-film chip resistors from Vishay Intertechnology is well suited for high-temperature environments, including aerospace and down-hole-drilling systems. They can handle temperatures from -55 to +215C and feature power ratings from 12.5 to 100 mW. The resistors, which have a 0.5-mm height profile, are available in 0603, 0805, 1206, and 2010 case sizes. They can be supplied with values from 10 Ohms to 7.6 MOhms, depending upon case size. They feature a load life stability of 0.5 percent after 1000 hours at +215C, with typical temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of 25 PPM/C.
