A new line of RoHS-compliant programmable oscillators operates from 1.5 to 200.0 MHz. The CTAM--the first in the series--is a surface-mount programmable TCXO with a CMOS-level output. Other versions offer LVPECL and LVDS outputs. The CTAM device operates at +3.3 VDC. It offers stability of 2.5 ppm maintained over a temperature range of -30 to +75C. With phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, the CTAM programmable oscillator is suitable for use in test equipment as well as industrial-automation, homeland-security, instrumentation, and other applications requiring quick production in user-designated frequencies to 200 MHz. The oscillators are available in an industry-standard 5-x-7-mm surface-mount package with six-pad FR-4 construction. P&A: about $20 per sample, $8.75 each in 1000Q for the CMOS version and slightly higher for the LVDS and LVPECL versions; delivery within 48 hours.
