The NuPower™ line of L- and S-band solid-state power amplifiers is ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) applications, as well as for broadband telemetry and communications.

The NuPower™ line of L- and S-band solid-state power amplifiers is ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) applications, as well as for broadband telemetry and communications. The amplifiers, which are based on gallium-nitride (GaN) power transistors, provide at least 10 W output power from 1.0 to 2.5 GHz with 40-dB gain. Second-harmonic levels are controlled to -13 dBc. The solid-state power amplifiers, which measure just 2.340 x 1.960 x 0.425 in. and weigh 2.1 oz., consume 1.3 A current at +28 VDC and can run on voltage supplies from +9 to +32 VDC. They are usable at operating temperatures from -30 to +70°C.
