Engineers working with capacitors will want a copy of the AVX Periodic Tables from AVX Corp. (Myrtle Beach, SC), a booklet of the latest capacitance-voltage (CV) charts for all the company's capacitor dielectrics. The AVX Periodic Tables, which are available for download from the company's web site (at http://lists.planetee.com/cgi-bin3/DM/y/eA0JtlqC0Gth0BKpo0AP ) or in printed form upon request, provide a quick reference to the most recent updates for a broad range of capacitor dielectrics. The web version of the 27-page document will be updated periodically (every four months). The tables are intended to assist design engineers in achieving the best possible design solution. According to Craig Hunter, Strategic Marketing Manager for AVX Corp., "Selection of the most appropriate capacitor technology, case size, and other parametric options can help maximize system performance and cost-effectiveness."
