Integrated Microwave has developed a line of low-cost, high-performance diplexers for Inmarsat satellite communications transceivers at 1542 and 1642 MHz. The low-profile, surface-mount diplexers feature transmit insertion loss of less than 1 dB and receive insertion loss of less than 1.2 dB. The elliptic function of the diplexers provides more than 55-dB interchannel rejection for the 34-MHz-wide channels. The ceramic diplexers can handle power levels to 30 W CW.
