AVX Corporation has expanded its high-voltage multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) series to include a 630-V range. The new capacitors, which are suitable for high-frequency power converters, power supplies, and DC blocking applications, feature low equivalent series resistance (ESR) high available capacitance values, and low leakage. According to Scott Harris, Product Marketing Manager, Advanced Ceramic Capacitors, "We have expanded our MLCC product offering to include a 630-V range to meet the growing demands for this specific voltage capability. This offering encompasses a wide range of applications across several industries including automotive, telecommunications, industrial, and military."The new line is available in a variety of configurations, including RoHS versions.
