As of May 26th, StratEdge Corporation has new ownership, headed by new President and Chairman of the Board Tim Going. As part of the move, the company's Taunton, MA operations (the former Package Technologies, Inc.) have been transferred to the headquarters location in San Diego, CA. All product lines are unaffected by the change. Previously, Mr. Going was Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for StratEdge for nine years, and served as the company's interim president since July 2003, replacing then-President Ron Bub. The management change comes on the heels of the company receiving ISO9001:2000 recertification with no nonconformances in March 2004. Notes Going: "This is a major milestone because this was the first time StratEdge's San Diego operations went through certification since we began adding the Taunton manufacturing operations." According to Going, "all StratEdge products will now be certified to this standard." StratEdge, which designs and manufactures high-performance ceramic packages for analog and digital circuitry operating past 50 GHz, as well as lower-cost plastic packages, and device/component packaging services.
